菲律宾渡轮遇台风沉没 数百人失踪

菲律宾官员２２日证实，一艘载有７００多人的渡轮因遭遇台风在菲中部海域沉没。

由于天气恶劣，救援行动进展缓慢。菲官员和媒体说，目前已找到至少４具遇难者遗体和３名幸存者，其余船上人员生死不明。

渡轮倾覆

路透社援引渡轮所属公司消息来源说，“群星王子”号渡轮２０日晚从首都马尼拉出发前往宿务，船上载有６２６名乘客和１２１名船员。２１日，渡轮行至锡布延岛附近海域时遭遇台风“风神”，与地面失去联系。

美联社援引菲律宾海岸警卫队官员维尔弗雷多·塔马约的话报道，台风导致渡轮引擎出现故障，渡轮被困海上。

沉船点附近米沙鄢群岛军官佩德罗·因赛尔托说：“我们得知，渡轮船长曾发出弃船信号……乘客和船员转移到另一艘船上，但目前我们仍不知道是哪艘船。”

沉船地附近海岸一些村民说，他们当天天亮前听到船上传来警报声。

渡轮发出警报数小时后，沉船地附近村镇官员接到海岸警卫队通知，赴现场查看后发现，渡轮已经“翻了个底朝天，船底还有一个大洞”。

一名官员告诉路透社记者：“船整个儿倾覆。我们一直等待救援人员，但目前还没有人到达。我们的船都被（台风）损毁（而无法实施救援）。”

救援遇阻

朗布隆省官员说，出事地点离海岸大约３公里，一些渔民已经找到数具遇难者遗体。

据路透社报道，目前已知船上至少４人死亡。其中两具被海浪冲上岸的遇难者遗体为女性。渔民２２日还在海滩上发现一些儿童拖鞋和救生衣。

路透社援引一名官员的话报道说，目前发现３名幸存者，但鉴于其余数百人依然下落不明，遇难者人数极可能上升。

台风带来的恶劣天气使海岸警卫队救援船只无法靠近出事地点，救援行动难以展开。而同时，在渡轮所属公司位于宿务的办公室内，数十名家属焦急等候有关亲人的消息。

拉尼·达考伊说：“我爸爸是船上乘客之一。现在还没有消息。我爸爸５９岁，我甚至不知道他是否会游泳。”

总统责问

菲律宾总统格洛丽亚·马卡帕加尔·阿罗约２２日发表讲话，要求彻查这艘渡轮为何在台风预警发布后仍被允许开航。

阿罗约在讲话中责令民防部门和海岸警卫队调查沉船事件。她说：“为什么你们会允许它起航？为什么没有给予充分警告？我需要答案。”

海岸警卫队方面称，早在“风神”２０日来袭之前，就向各家船运公司发布了台风预警。

“群星王子”号渡轮沉没，使菲律宾因“风神”丧生的人数进一步增加。据菲律宾红十字会最新统计，截至２２日，“风神”引发的洪水、滑坡等已导致至少１５５人死亡。

美联社说，在受灾最严重的伊洛伊洛省，至少５９人被洪水淹死，另有４０多人失踪。当地官员说，伊洛伊洛省“几乎所有城镇被水淹没”，仿佛“一片汪洋”，数万居民爬到房顶上等候救援。

“风神”还造成菲律宾中部和南部多个地区电力供应中断，超过１００架国内航班被取消。

“风神”２０日在菲中部地区登陆，最高风速达每小时１９５公里。预计“风神”２２日离开菲律宾，向台湾岛方向推进。（张代蕾）
